Through the years Bulgaria has become extremely desired destination for international students and especially the ones who choose to study medicine.
The university admission requirements for international students are determined based on which category the students are in and the program they choose to study. The categories are divided into 3 main groups. Bulgarians / EU citizens; Bulgarian nationals permanently living abroad and Applicants from non-EU member countries.
Candidates applying in Bulgaria must have at least 62 percent of the maximum value of the assessment system in the country from which they are coming.
EU students do not require a visa to study in Bulgaria.
Requirements for visas are different depending on which category is the student.
